Towcestrians RFC
The 2008-2009 season will go down as one of our clubs most successful seasons in recent years, and Towcestrians are delighted to acclaim the outstanding success of two players who have attained International Honours.
Jamie Warr was selected for England U16s and played at the recent U16s 6 Nations and Portugal International tournament, and won the accolade of player of the tournament. Jamie has also, been selected for the Saints Academy
Aaron Goodman won his International Cap for England Colleges and played in 3 internationals.

1st XV 09/10
The Towcestrians RFC 1st XV secured a very creditable 3rd place in the Midlands 3 East (South) League, reached the quarter final stage of the National EDF Senior Vase and a young Tows side were Runners up in the Lewis Shield at Franklin’s Gardens.
The Towcestrians Colts XV have had one of their most successful seasons ever.They Won the Oceanic Cup defeating Old Scouts at Franklins Gardens in final – Martyn Harvey voted Man of Match by East Midlands RU.In the National Colts Cup they were eventually beaten in the 3rd round after reaching last 32.
The Towcestrians Minis & Juniors again ran up an extraordinary string of successes:
- U9s U10s, U12s were runners up in the Coalville Festival – U9s drew in the final. U7’s & 8’s Winners of the Nuneaton Festival
- U9s and U11s cup winners at Wellingborough.U7s, U10s and 12s Plate winners at Wellingborough
- Sam Neale selected for EPDG;
- Will Butler East Mids School of Rugby and 4 county schools player
- U15s Sam Browne and Lewis Bodily selected for Full East Midlands for next season – and 7 other players in Alliance
- U16 David Owen played for the Midlands U16’s
