TOWS SAVE THEIR BLUSHES WITH LAST MINUTE TRY!!
Honours were shared in this game, which started with Towcestrians in control, but finished with them scrambling to save the game.
In the early minutes, Matt Bodily was clear to score, only to be called back for a dubious forward pass. Yet, from the next move Matt Yuill got clear of the Old Newtonians defence to score and convert his own try. A further penalty from Yuill put Tows 10pts up and they were looking good to build and emulated the kind of success from the previous week. How wrong. Newly promoted Old Newtonians gradually got themselves into the game when their winger scored a well taken try and a penalty from their No10 evened things a little.
